PERFORMING POLICY:

Many of our members are talented performers who donate their time and talents in support of our organization and its goals. To this end, they make themselves available to entertain at BCFSS-sponsored events as well as for any other event or organization that is looking for acoustic musical entertainment. We ask only a modest donation to defray expenses. The amount is flexible, depending on the situation.

Usually when we commit to an engagement, we don't know which of our artists will be willing and able to participate, but even if you are looking for a very specific type of entertainment, we can usually find a way to accommodate. If not, we may be able to refer you directly to an artist who can deliver what you're looking for.

Please realize that quite a few of our members do play professionally outside of our organization. When performing as independents, they negotiate their own fee schedules and conditions. BCFSS does not act as a booking agent for these artists.
