Bert plays an eclectic mix of folk, country, bluegrass, and gospel music accompanied primarily on six-string acoustic guitar and five-string banjo. He also plays twelve-string guitar, classic guitar, and mandolin. His repertoire spans all age groups from young children on up, and includes many of the popular folk songs of the sixties as well as modern and classic country and bluegrass tunes. He also performs a number of original compositions which range from humorous to inspirational.

Bert performs both individually and with "Unsafe At Any Speed!" at hayrides, campfires, festivals, clubs, schools, and retirement communities. Bert resides in Perkasie, PA.
